ROBINSONS Land Corp. increased its presence in Cebu City with the launch of its fourth residential project in the area.
In a statement, the Gokongwei-led real estate firm said its urban lifestyle brand Robinsons Residences rolled out Azalea Place, a single-tower, 25-storey development in Lahug located across the Cebu campus of the University of the Philippines.
Frederick Go, RLC president and chief operating officer, said Azalea Place would cater to “start-up families, investors seeking good returns from a large pool of potential renters, and parents who want to invest in prime property for their children’s future.”
Construction along Gorordo Avenue will start next year and the 407 units will be turned over to buyers by the second quarter of 2015.
The 25-square-meter studio units will be sold for P2.03 million to P2.52 million. One-bedroom units ranging from 29.75 to 38.5 square meters will be sold for P2.42 million to P3.76 million, while the two-bedroom units will be sold for P3.63 million to P5.36 million.
The property developer’s venture in Cebu began with themed community Aspen Heights under Robinsons Homes, subdivision lots in Blue Coast Residences in Mactan under Robinsons Communities, and leisure residential community AmiSa in Mactan under Robinsons Luxuria.
The company’s net income attributable to equity holders improved by 28 percent to P1.01 billion in the third quarter from P792.52 million in the same period last year.
Its October to June profit advanced by 18 percent to P3.05 billion from P2.59 billion in 2010.
Combined real estate and hotel revenues grew 17 percent in the first nine months to P9.27 billion from the previous year’s P7.95 billion.
Shopping centers contributed 48 percent or bulk of the company’s total revenues, while the residential group accounted for 32 percent.
